Updates About Our Office

As many of you know, Bill Weissinger is moving to “of counsel” status at the firm. Beginning on July 1st, 2015, he will work two days per week, usually on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Mimi Wagner, who has worked at the firm with Bill for more than ten years and has more than 15 years of legal experience overall, will be buying the firm from Bill. The name of the law offices will change from the Law Offices of William J. Weissinger P.S. to Wagner Law Offices P.C. Mimi will continue to work at the firm full-time.

The changes you experience should be minimal, if any: the name of the firm is changing, but the people remain the same. Our hourly rates are not currently changing as a result of this sale of the firm from Bill to Mimi. Our location and hours stay the same. Our phone number, fax number, email addresses and website remain the same. Our goals remain to provide quality legal services, on a timely basis, at a reasonable price.

Because of our increasing workload and in anticipation of Bill’s reduced schedule, we hired attorney James (Jamie) Grifo on April 1st. Jamie has about four years of experience as an attorney and lives on San Juan Island with his wife and children. We are excited to have him working with us and available to assist clients.

We are pleased that we can now offer three different attorneys to assist you. Because we have varying experience levels, types of legal experience, and hourly rates, we will continue to tailor our staffing for your project based on your particular needs.

Rudi Ann Weissinger is retiring completely from the firm on July 1st. She and the Weissingers’ Scottish terrier Duffy will no longer be at the office every business day. Congratulations to Rudi and many thanks for years of hard work! Margaret Hall retired from our office at the end of 2014, after working with us for nearly ten years. We were very sorry that she retired, but pleased to have been joined this spring by Ranae York as our Legal Assistant/Office Manager. Ranae grew up on Camano Island. She has years of experience working as a paralegal and as Executive Director of a nonprofit organization. We are happy to have Ranae working with us.

Our clients and the quality of our work are very important to us. We have worked very hard to build a good team, and to ensure a smooth transition. We look forward to assisting you with your legal needs.
