Margaret assists us as a legal assistant and secretary. She holds Bachelor of Arts and Master of Fine Arts degrees from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. Before moving to Friday Harbor in 1992, Margaret worked in commercial real estate in Dallas. As Vice President of a large development and management company, she was responsible for the supervision of building managers and leasing agents in office complexes and shopping centers. Another real estate company which she founded with an associate, Solender/Hall, Inc., is still thriving in Dallas today. Prior to entering the field of real estate, Margaret worked as a legal secretary and office manager in a Dallas firm. San Juan Islanders also know Margaret as an active participant in the San Juan Community Theatre, as both director and performer.
