About Us

Mimi Wagner grew up in Friday Harbor, attending kindergarten through high school on San Juan Island. She graduated from law school in 2000, and returned to Friday Harbor in 2005 after a judicial clerkship and practicing with a highly regarded (AV-rated) law firm in Denver, Colorado. In 2005, she joined Bill Weissinger at the firm, which was then known as the Law Offices of William J. Weissinger PS.

Bill Weissinger began practicing law in 1982. He worked in the Boston, Massachusetts area for 8 years, first with a prestigious law firm, and then as in-house counsel to a large diversified public company. Bill opened his law practice on San Juan Island in 1990.

In July, 2015, Mimi purchased the firm from Bill, who moved to an “of counsel” role in the firm. As of January 1, 2016, Bill has fully retired from the practice of law.
